September 2022 - Katherine to Kuranda and onto Kingaroy

Katherine Visitor Centre
Tourism Officers (L to R) Julia Stone, Taylor Hohn, Loveena Kniger, Suzi Bowles Manager, and Datatrax CEO Paul Buckley at Katherine Visitor Centre.

Continuing on the work around the Nation, we trekked across the NT from Katherine where we installed a new unit with a five year location agreement with the Katherine Shire Council to support the staff and new manager Suzie Bowles as visitor numbers have continued to remain extremely high. Kuranda, QLD has also signed on for 5 years and we look forward to showcasing the Cairns hinterland.

With such great assets in the area as Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge, Litchfield NP, Kakadu, Mataranka Springs and Katherine Outback Experience), there is little wonder that visitors have been pouring in.

We continue our COVID rebound and are working on Deloraine and Sheffield in Tasmania and Lithgow in NSW and a string of new sites in Tasmania including Devonport and St Helens.

Managers report TourismTouchscreens and the App Take You There is being used widely by visitors to “Stay Longer and See and Do More”.   It gives us great pride to be promoting so many wonderful destinations around Australia, including South Burnett in QLD.

We look forward to updating WA, NT and more of Queensland over the coming quarter.

Enjoy our wonderful country
Paul Buckley CEO
