Chief Executive Officer
After graduating from ANU Computer Science and a Grad Diploma in Expert Systems and the Human Computer Interface, Paul worked in several major Commonwealth Departments for seven years, including heading up major Expert Systems rollouts nationally. Paul was the Federal Government representative on the ACT Government’s Austouch program which integrated local and federal delivery around Canberra. He then struck out with his own company, Datatrax, in 1993. Datatrax launched the initial TourismTouchscreen system at the Rydges Canberra Capital Hill to an auditorium which was packed with the majority of iconic tourism operators from around the nation’s capital.The ongoing upgrade of the network throughout three nations, the continual review of the visitor centres in several other nations, and the foray into the mobile market has provided some insight into the challenges and opportunities facing visitor centres, both in keeping up with the pace of change within IT over two decades and in harnessing existing resources for an expanding digital strategy.
Sacha has been the Art Manager at Datatrax since 2001 and has been instrumental in all of our creative activities in that time. Armed with a Bachelor of Visual Arts and an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design, he has also worked for the National Gallery of Australia as an art handler and provided technical assistance for the Studio One community access printmaking workshop. Sacha’s current oversights include the creation of client promotions and all of Datatrax’s internal marketing material.
Part of the Datatrax team for several years working initially as the Accounts Manager, and then stepping up to the Finance Manager at Datatrax Tourism Touchscreens with the retirement of the prior long standing employee in early 2019. Kristina oversees the invoicing of hundreds of clients each month, directly liaising with the clients and keeping the CEO informed of the critical numbers as well as filing all the necessary documents to ASIC, ATO, Companies House and Inland Revenue NZ. Before that Kristina worked for a Not for Profit caring organisation in the accounts Team, an Accounts and Administration Assistant a well known Property Management company in ACT and as a bookkeeper for various businesses in Canberra. While in Indonesia, Kristina held a Senior Auditor position with the Audit Board of Republic of Indonesia (equivalent to ANAO in Australia, 1999-2003) and the Central Bank of Indonesia (which is equivalent to the Reserve Bank of Australia, 2004-2011). She is now proud to call Australia home, finally having received her Citizenship, and now enjoys a meat pie with Sambal. Australian National University (2011-2013), obtained a Masters of International and Development Economics and a Bachelor of Accounting in Indonesia.
Jill has returned to Datatrax in 2014 following a five-year stint at the Department of Employment. She works closely with Kristina, and now looks after accounts receivable. Jill combines her good-natured phone manner with a perseverance and desire to reach a satisfactory outcome for all involved.
