Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre joins the new online network in September with a fully revamped Quest TourismTouchscreen. Using a state-of-the-art Ethernet over power (EOP) device, we were able to connect the kiosk to the VIC’s existing network without the need to run a new internet cable to the installation point. This great innovation has allowed us to upgrade the TourismTouchscreen Network in even the most remote areas to provide internet-based features to hosts and visitors, by using existing power lines to run internet from the host’s modem.
