Another fine Day in SA

The locals are desperate for some water, but the tourists are loving the Indian summer.  It was great to get out and meet and greet some of our clients in and around Adelaide and check in with the Visitor Centres.

As  you well know a visitor centre is a key asset for any town and attracts visitors to spend time and stay an extra night.  It beggars belief when a council closes a visitor centre.

Some of the examples that I still have difficulty understanding are places like Adelaide, Hahndorf, Coffs Harbour, Whitsundays, and even Cairns.   How a council gets to that point I do not fully understand, whereas communities like Darwin, Katherine, Yarrawonga, Swan Hill, Kununurra, Broome,  Ceduna, Deloraine, Devonport have thriving visitor centres that have been a foundation for tourism for the 30 years we have been working with them.

Getting around some of those sites we always take time to enjoy the amazing attractions on offer.  Chihuly at Adelaide Botanic Gardens, The SA Library old room.  National Motor Museum in the Adelaide Hills, Cockington Green Canberra, Smiths Pies (unbeatable Scollop pie in Tasi), Barossa Lutheran Church , Chateau Tenunda, and just to name a few. We have some amazing assets, but how about the sunset at Semaphore beach. Wow!

Enjoy the Holidays
